    Beautiful

My new favorite angelfish breed. And as always angelsplus came through with the perfect specimen. My only regret is that they only had one. Wish I could have had more.

    Unhealthy

I picked up the fish at UPS. They looked great but on the thin side. One wasn’t eating and died a few days later with the other to follow. I’ve raised Angels for over 30 yrs. I’m not a novice. That was a lot of money to toss out the window.

This is the exact email that she sent us after getting the fish:

'Just wanted you to know the Angels arrived in great condition and are very feisty. They are stunning!!! Thank you for picking them out for me. '

We are happy that she received fish that arrived in great condition and very active. Unfortunately, we can't be responsible for keeping them that way.

    5 Star everything

Communication to Packaging my experience was top Notch second to none! The pictured fish is exactly what you get vibrant colors and all without the need of lighting enhancements will definitely buy again!!!

Good fish needs better heat pack.

I ordered a few fish and picked them up directly from the local distribution center before they even had them listed as arriving (good thing I was paranoid). The heat pack was ice cold upon promptly opening the box 10 minutes later at home. One of the fish was close to death and if I had followed their acclimation guide it would have definitely died (I've worked with fish including shipping them for several years so I Know when a fish can be saved or not) I was able to get it back to a good condition after 24 hours. The fish were beautiful but I don't know if I can justify making another order if that's how they will be shipped. The breeding pair I bought also "jumped" and I had to pick a different pair that I didn't like as much last minute. Overall I hope this review gets read and they change the way they ship because they do sell beautiful fish that don't deserve to die over something so simple.

Generally, we have no issues with the fish getting too cold unless UPS has issues. Sometimes, they get caught outside on a runway for hours during a very cold night, or get delayed a day. We've also had heat packs that did not perform to what they should have. Yours was a 48 hour pack that was only in transit for 18-20 hours. In the average winter, we might lose about 1% of the fish we ship and it's almost always an issue with the carrier. Still, if you do your part (written in our guarantee), we stand behind the shipment. As a side note, if the fish comes in breathing, they almost never die. Cold does not damage them in any permanent way.
