Blue-eye Lemon Bristlenose
Juvenile Blue Eyed Bristlenose

Bristlenose - Lemon

Lemon Bristlenose have been difficult to breed in the past.  They were very inbred, weak, and slow-growing.  Therefore, we made it a project to out-cross them to improve vigor.  We first crossed them into some nice Reds.  The resulting brown offspring were then crossed back to Blue Eye, resulting in 50% of the next generation being very nice, vigorous Lemons.  These are what we are working with now - a definite step up from most of the stock you will find out there.  It took a few years to get the Blue Eye Lemon traits back, but it was well worth it.

Highly Recommend AnglesPlus

Beautiful. Showed up active, and healthy. My quarantine tank had a bit of an algea problem when I put the 3 bristkenose in. Within two days it was all gone and I had to start algea tabs.

Highly recommend AnglesPlus. You can buy with confidence here!

Very pleased

These lemon pleces arrived in great condition and after acclimation, immediately began exploring the tank. After about 3 days, I was unable to track all of them as they had already found their favorite hiding places.
