I wanted a simple connect and disconnect lift tube since air hoses tend to get very hard after a year or two and are hard to reconnect. pI also wanted a high quality sponge material since I clean my sponge filters every 6 months in my slop sink. When servicing 30 tanks the fewer parts to deal with makes maintenance easier and quicker . I highly recommend this sponge filter.

Shipping was terrible , UPS gave me a run around for 3 days past when it was supposed to be delivered, that is out of angelsplus control tho , other then that there amazing !

Skipped the airpump and pushed the sponges into the water intake of small, hang on the back power filters. Total quiet.
