Freeze-Dried Fish FoodAs the years go by, the percentage of freeze-dried foods in our fish's diet has increased. We found them to be equal to frozen foods in their ability to condition breeding fish. However, frozen fish foods can contain very high levels of dangerous bacteria, so we have replaced with the freeze-dried fish foods. Freeze-dried fish foods do not spoil as easily. Bacterial levels tend to be much lower and they're more convenient. In addition, the freeze-drying process kills any fish parasites that are often found in live and frozen foods.
