Gold Marble Angelfish
(Gm/g) or (Gm/Gm)Gold Marble is the gene behind Koi angelfish. We occasionally have these when an outcross produces some.

The current stock (actual fish from spawn for sale are in the above photo) was the result of a Het. Blue Gold crossed to a very orange Koi. Each of these fish contains 1 gene for Blue and 1 each for Stripeless, Gold Marble and Gold. Their offspring will consist of 25% each of Blue types and 25% Blushing, including Koi and Sunsets. The finnage is incredible on this outcross - very long and straight. It turned out to be an extremely vigorous group, proving that the cross was a good one. Gold Marble Genetics
(Gm/g) or (Gm/Gm)
Gold Marble is on the same gene location as Gold, Dark and
Marble. It is dominant over gold, enhances the darkness of
Blacks and shows some odd interaction with Marble. It
actually lessens the amount of black in a Marble to the
point where the Marble has less black than it does when
Marble is crossed to Gold.
